No. GeosIndex.com is a free product selection tool. For information on better using the site, please see this short instructional video.
To learn about submitting product data to GeosIndex.com and applicable participation rates and requirements, please review the Product Data Submission brochure (PDF).
GeosIndex seeks annual updates to the material data. Also, participating companies may submit updates at any time during the year.
GeosIndex is reviewed by numerous industry experts in the relevant materials markets. These reviewers represent independent testing laboratories, past and current international standards committee participants, manufacturers, and other specialists. As tests become standardized and the data becomes available throughout the field, those values are added to/updated on the site. While GeosIndex has launched with only ASTM-related data, ISO and CEN-related tests and data are planned.
Participating companies select which products they want to list. These companies are solely responsible for the accuracy of their reported data.
Yes. GeosIndex is designed to adapt to the field’s needs. More types of information, such as for geosynthetics installation/welding equipment, are planned. If you have particular materials/services you would like to find, we welcome your suggestions. Contact Chris Kelsey, firstname.lastname@example.org.
GeosIndex.com is here to support engineers, contractors and others utilizing and learning about geosynthetics. We welcome your technical questions and comments on the website and in regards to geosynthetics. We routinely help agencies and specifiers around the world on finding the right companies from which to seek project bids and information on the availability of materials. Furthermore, we welcome your inquiries regarding related products and services (e.g., welding equipment, testing, CQA/CQC, leak location surveys, engineering, installation/fabrication, etc.). Our larger global network is here to help.
Finally, GeosIndex’s publisher, www.geosynthetica.net, offers news, case studies, technical information and other geosynthetics resources.
Yes. GeosIndex users have numerous options for downloading and printing the data. Exportable Excel spreadsheets are available on every data page. Links to individual product specification sheets from the manufacturer may be downloaded (when provided by the manufacturer) by clicking on the product name in data tables. Additional information and data sheets may be available on each company’s page. Click on a company’s name in the data tables or visit the Companies page for extended information about each company on GeosIndex.
